Running from 16th May – 16th June 2016, National Smile Month(NSM) is one of the largest and longest-running oral health campaigns in the world! Organised by the Oral Health Foundation, National Smile Month’s primary aim is to improve the UK’s oral health. And this year marks a landmark: NSM turns 40!
NSM promotes three fundamental messages, helping us develop and maintain a healthy mouth.
- Brush your teeth last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste.
- Cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks.
- Visit your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.
In support of NSM, we’ve re-launched our Smileguide. Full of information, tips and advice about oral health, the Smileguide is available to download, or for printed copies, get in touch with us here.
And to celebrate the launch of our Smileguide, we’re running a fantastic competition offering the chance to win one of 500 goody bags, worth £45 each! Details can be found on the back of the Smileguide, or check back here on the 16th May 2016 for more information!
